, one thing that keeps amazing me and indeed convinced me about the authenticity of this Islam, is it's completeness. There is no area Islam doesn't touch. There are comprehensive rules, from the Qur'an and Prophet's teaching, on exorcism.
The summary of the rule of excorcism is:
-Recite special Qura'nic verses(Ayatul Kursiyyu Q2:55, Q 112-114,Suratul Jinn and some others) on the afflicted person
-The reciter should be a someone very knowledgeable and has great iman(faith) and taqwa(fear of Allah), not somebody that indulges in sins
-It should be done in line with the Sunnah(practice) of Prophet of Muhammad, not just anyhow
-The environment where the exorcism is being made should be clean, spiritually and physically, free from animate pictures, crosses etc around
